Sunset Home’s Adult Day Services are designed for adults, aged 62 and over, who need part-time supervised care due to physical, mental, or social impairment. Healthcare staff provide daily assistance as needed, while allowing participants to remain in their own homes under the primary care of family for as long as possible. Adult Day Services encourages each person to function at the highest possible level physically, socially, psychologically, and spiritually. Healthcare and social services staff, in consultation with the family and physician, develop a care plan for the specific needs of each participant and their family.

Adult Day Services are available Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Days and hours are arranged on an individual basis. Services are provided by licensed or certified staff.​

Services may be selected to include:

  • Supervised group and individual activities
  • Nutritious meals
  • Help with personal care and grooming
  • Medication administration
  • Reality orientation / validation

Other services provided for additional fees include:

  • Skilled nursing care
  • Special diet or more than one meal a day
  • Bathing care
  • Salon services
